Adsorbent

An adsorbent is a material that can adsorb, or take up, another substance. In the nonwovens industry, activated carbon is an example of an adsorbent that is commonly used in air and water filtration applications. Businesses in the nonwovens industry must ensure that their products have adequate adsorbent to meet the demands of their customers.
